It is New Year’s Eve.

Year 2014 is leaving and 2015 is coming.

I had buckwheat noodles with family today.

It is Japan’s custom for New Year’s Eve.

We call it ‘Year-Crossing Noodles’.

Noodles are easily cut by teeth.

So, it means ‘Cut off all bad luck I (you) have in the year and welcome New Year without it’.

Happy New Year !!!
